The title above was the question posed on the cover of the October 15, 2006 issue of THE WATCHTOWER. An article contained in the magazine, which carried the same title, sought to provide an answer to this important question.
This past March, I answered the doorbell one Saturday morning to find two Jehovah’s Witnesses making their door-to-door rounds in my neighborhood. It was only days before their annual memorial service, so they were blanketing the area to invite people to attend.

Over the past century, the Society has predicted – and many of its leaders have prophesied – Christ’s return and Armageddon on multiple dates, (e.g., 1874, 1914, 1925, and 1975). Rather than placing their eternal security on “The Rock,” they have chosen to follow an organization whose teachings shift as frequently as the sand. |
“It seems that resurrected ones of the 24 elders group may be included in communicating divine truth today.” In other words, those who were once living, but who are now dead, are communicating with us today.
A dear reader of our website drew to our attention that we do not emphasize that everyone must be born again to enter the Kingdom.
