On the outside wrapping of the latest WATCHTOWER and AWAKE! Magazines is this announcement in red capital letters . . .

“ONLY 4 ISSUES REMAINING SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE WILL BE DISCONTINUED. OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL COPY THROUGH A CONGREGATION OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES.”

Not even a “Please”, “Thank You” or “Sorry”. No explanation is given such as “Due to”.

It is interesting to see how this new policy will affect the “door-to-door” work of the Watchtower followers. It seems unreasonable to expect former subscribers would be willing to line up in front of the Kingdom Hall’s to get their next issue.

One could speculate that this is a desperate means to avoid future exposure of the Society, such as it being a member of the United Nations for 10 years while teaching that the UN was “the wild beast of Revelation”. And the then there is the most serious revelation by far, concealing the activities of child molesters over the years and actually becoming a haven for them, rather than reporting them to the proper authorities.

God assures us that there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, and we have the assurance that God is the revealer of all things, with or without a subscription to the WATCHTOWER and AWAKE! magazines.
